NEET 2024 Counselling will be conducted by MCC after the release of NEET UG results. The result is likely to be released on June 2, so it is anticipated that the NEET 2024 counselling process will begin in July 2024.

The Medical Council Committee (MCC) is the official counselling conducting authority that publishes the PDF document on its main website. Before the counselling rounds commence, a detailed NEET merit list 2024 featuring the names, AIR, and scores of qualified candidates is posted.

NEET Counselling 2024 will be held in 4 rounds – Rounds 1 and 2, Mop-up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round Overall, the counselling stage is divided into 15% AIQ counselling and 85% state-level counselling. Only those test-takers are allowed to apply for counselling of NEET UG 2024 who have met the minimum cutoff criteria and made it to the NEET Merit List 2024. While MCC will conduct NEET-UG AIQ counselling 2024, respective states conduct the state-level NEET-UG counselling.

Counselling Procedure

Aspirants need to make sure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria and secure the minimum cutoff marks. The NEET counselling 2024 registration is done for MBBS and BDS courses. Given below is the complete process to apply for NEET 2024 counselling.

  • All eligible candidates are required to head over to the official website of MCC at www.mcc.nic.in
  • Candidates must register themselves by clicking on the ‘Register now’ button
  • The NEET 2024 counselling form will appear in a new page
  • Candidates must fill out the personal information such as name, mother’s name, contact number, roll number, etc. and verify all the details before submitting
  • Then, check the new roll number and password sent to the candidate on their official email ID
  • Use the given credentials to register for NEET 2024 Counselling and log into the official website of MCC with the credentials
  • Enter the required password and roll number, and add relevant details
  • Click on confirm NEET counselling 2024 registration
  • Take several printout copies of the registration slip for future reference
  • Aspirants will be prompted to pay the NEET 2024 counselling fees after official registration is done
  • Candidates should pay the fees via debit card or credit card or net banking
